Description

This is a milepost located on the south side of the A52, 100 yards east of Rochford Tower Lane. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of cast iron. The milepost has a triangular shape with a cambered head, marked with "Fishtoft" and indicating distances to "Boston 2 M" and "Wainfleet 16 M" on its sides.
