Description

Mastin's Bridge is a bridge built around 1805, possibly designed by John Rennie. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features gritstone coping. The bridge has a single span with an elliptical arch, a brick band, and a slightly splayed parapet that includes a recessed center panel and slightly advanced end piers. This bridge is part of a series of structures across the Cowbridge drain, which were established during the drainage of the Fens by John Rennie.
