Description
Skirbeck Grange is a house built in the early 18th century, with a minor addition from the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a slate roof with brick coped tumbled gables, kneelers, and two brick gable stacks. The building has a T-plan layout and stands two storeys plus attics high, with a five-bay front that includes a plinth, a first-floor band, and dogtooth corbelled eaves. The central entrance consists of a glazed door with an overlight, framed by pairs of glazing bar sash windows. The first floor has five similar windows, all with brick segmental heads. In the roof, there are three glazing bar lights topped with segmental lead roofs. To the left, there is a lean-to conservatory from the 19th century. Inside, the house features a turned baluster stair.
