Description

The United Reformed Church is a chapel that was rebuilt in 1841, originally constructed in 1731. It is made of brick and has a concrete tiled roof. The entrance front features a pedimented gable and is two storeys high with four bays, where the central pair is recessed. The round-headed windows have margin lights above the entrance, which is flanked by paired Doric columns leading to a recessed entry. The doors are located on the inner sides of the outer bays. A moulded cornice runs along the top, and the parapet bears the inscription "Erected AD MDCCXXXI Rebuilt AD MDCCCXLI." At the back, there are eight bays, each with a round arched window. The front of the church is enclosed by spear head cast iron railings.
