Description

The United Reformed Church, originally built as a Congregational Chapel, dates back to 1840. It features coursed and squared lias stone, with some brick, and has a hipped slate roof. This tall single-storey building includes a gallery and has a distinctive frontage with two tall pointed-arch casements that have Gothick heads. The two bay returns match this style. The central entrance consists of paired two-panelled doors topped with an arched fanlight that has Gothick glazing. Inside, the church is fitted with pews and other furnishings.
