Description

Holly Cottage is a house from the early 19th century, constructed of coursed and squared lias stone with a tiled roof featuring coped verges and brick end stacks. The building has a symmetrical front and stands two storeys high with three bays. It features broad 12-pane sash windows with exposed sash boxes and dropped keys, although the central window on the first floor is blocked. The central door opening contains a six-panelled door, with the top two panels being glazed, and is complemented by a good flat-roofed trellis porch. There is a short section of wall on each side of the frontage, adorned with ornamental iron railings along the roadside.
