Description
Chatham House is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of Churchway in Curry Rivel. It features a rendered and colorwashed exterior, wide bracketed eaves, and a hipped slate roof with brick stacks. The house is two stories high and has a symmetrical three-bay frontage, with 12-pane sash windows. The central door opening includes a panelled and glazed door with a transom light above it, framed by a doorcase with plain pilasters and a cornice. The property is complemented by ornamental iron railings surrounding the forecourt.
