Description

The Manor House, along with its boundary wall and gate piers, is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a Welsh slate roof. The building is three storeys high and has three bays, with a central six-panelled door that has a traceried fanlight and a canopy supported by consoles. On either side of the door, there are three-light casement windows with transoms on each floor, and two-light windows above the door. The house has gable end stacks.

At the rear, there is a lower wing that was added in the early 20th century, designed in a vernacular revival style. This addition is also made of brick and has a Swithland slate roof, with overhanging eaves and steeply arched heads featuring keystones above the wood mullioned and transomed windows. Dormer windows are present above. The additions include a wide canted bay window on the north gable of the house, which has a Venetian window above it. A lean-to extension at the rear contains a recessed door and window and is intersected by a prominent chimney.
