Description
The United Reformed Church, originally a Presbyterian Church, was built in 1828 and enlarged around 1860. The front is made of ashlar stone, while the sides are constructed from roughly-tooled stone with cut dressings. It has a Welsh slate roof and features a gabled front that rises two storeys and consists of three narrow bays. There is a plinth, and the central entrance has flush-panelled double doors framed by Tuscan pilasters and a cornice. The windows have early 20th-century leaded glazing and slightly-projecting sills. Above the entrance, a pediment contains a circular window set in a raised surround. The left side has a similar arrangement of three bays and a four-panel door at the far left, along with a one-bay extension. The right side has lower windows in the centre and left bays, which are now blocked. The interior was remodelled in the 20th century. The attached buildings at the rear are not considered of special interest.
