The building is a dog kennel located in a wall attached to the east side of Southwood House, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features a red brick wall that stands approximately 1.8 meters high, which contains the dog kennel. The entrance to the kennel is segmental arched and is flush with the wall.
