Description
Southwood Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick, featuring a roof made of Welsh slate and plain tiles. It has brick gable stacks and a dentil eaves cornice. The building stands two storeys high and has a front elevation with three bays. The taller, symmetrical double-fronted section on the right includes a central doorway with a 19th-century half-glazed door, flanked by 3-light segment-headed casements. Above, there are two 2-light segment-headed casements. The left side of the farmhouse has a lean-to 20th-century conservatory and a 3-light segment-headed casement, with a 2-light flat arched casement above. There is also a partly blocked staircase window at the rear.
