LONG WHATTON GRIMES GATE SK 4424-4524 (Diseworth) 12/177 Barn approximately 30 metres to south east of Old Hall Farmhouse GV II

Barn. Circa 1690, partly rebuilt C19 at right end. Timber frame with diagonal braces and brick infill. Rubble stone base, rendered over to right. Right bay rebuilt in brick. C20 corrugated iron roof. 3 bays. Right bay has cart entry blocked with corrugated iron; centre bay has C20 board door. Diaper vents in brick panels. 2 trusses with raking queen posts, one with queen struts and collar. Included for group value.
