Description

The stables at Number 4, located in Long Whatton, were built around 1800 and later refurbished in the 20th century. The structure is made of brick set on a rubble stone base and features a 20th-century corrugated asbestos roof. The gable end facing the road has blocked vent slits, while the north side includes 20th-century board doors for the stable and vehicle bay, two loft doors, and diaper vents. This building is included for its group value. A later lean-to attached to the south is not considered to have special architectural interest.
