Milepost. Mid C19. Cast iron, painted white, with raised black lettering. Triangular post, stopped below upper panel. Inscribed: 'CASTLE DONINGTON PARISH NOTTINGHAM 14 MILES, TAMWORTH 21 MILES'. On stop is small oval plaque inscribed: 'WOOTTON BROS, IRON WORKS, COALVILLE'.
