Description

The dovecote at Number 72 is a structure from the mid-18th century, with its lower part used as a stable. It features a high stone base and brick above, topped with a 20th-century tiled roof that has brick gable copings. This tall square building has chamfered and offset eaves that extend across the gable ends as band courses. It is two storeys high, with the lower storey featuring a stable door on the south side, set in an altered stone surround with a keyblock. There is a board door leading to the upper storey in the west wall, and the north wall has three small square dove entries with ledges.
