Description

Milestone located opposite the mill in Nether Broughton, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and has a triangular shape with a rounded top. The front features the lettering "PARISH OF NETHER BROUGHTON." On the left side, it indicates "TO MELTON MOWBRAY 6 MILES," and on the right side, it states "TO NOTTINGHAM 13 MILES."
