Description

No 14 on Grantham Road is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of whitewashed brick with a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and is arranged in three bays. The central entrance features a 20th-century half-glazed door, flanked by a three-light casement window on each side. The casement windows have segmental heads and are missing most of their glazing bars. There is a platband between the floors, and the first floor has similar windows, with the central window consisting of only two lights. The eaves cornice is saw-toothed, and the roof is gabled, hipped to the west to accommodate a cross wing that extends to the south.
