Description
No 35 on Church Lane is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is built from coursed oolitic limestone rubble and has a pantiled roof. The house is two storeys high and features three bays in a symmetrical layout. The central entrance has a 20th-century panelled and glazed door set within a doorcase that has stucco pilasters and a pediment. On either side of the door, there are sash windows with sills and glazing bars, all set under wedge lintels. On the first floor, there are three 2-light casement windows, also with sills and glazing bars beneath wedge lintels. The building has a stepped brick eaves cornice, tumbled-in brick at the raised gables, and brick stacks at each end.
