Description
The bandstand in New Park, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, features some Japanese design influences. It is octagonal in shape, supported by bracketed iron columns, and has a wooden balustrade along with a rusticated stone base. The roof is pyramidal and tiled, topped with a finial, and the interior boasts a ribbed ceiling.
