Description
Nos 11 and 13 on Leicester Road are an early 19th-century building featuring a symmetrical facade. Constructed from red brick, it has end chimneys and a roof that is not visible. The building stands three storeys high and has three windows, with the centre window being blank. The windows have engraved stone lintels and are fitted with sashes that include glazing bars. The ground floor of No 13 features a square, early 19th-century bay with four sashes. There are paired centre doors adorned with pilasters, flat hoods supported by brackets, panelled reveals, and fanlights. No 11 includes a traceried fanlight and a six-panelled door.
These properties, along with Nos 1 to 21 (odd), Nos 25 and 27, form a group with Nos 1 to 3 Leicester Yard and the entrance gates and bandstand in New Park, as well as The Golden Fleece Public House and Nos 36A and 38 opposite.
