Description
No. 66 Church Street is a pair of houses dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century addition on the right. The left side features a timber-framed structure with roughcast infill panels and a plain tile roof, which has stacks on the left and left of center. This part has two storeys and an irregular arrangement of windows, including two on the ground floor. The left window is a wide square bay with a tiled hipped roof above, while the right window has a single shutter at the time of the resurvey. On the first floor, there are two windows, one of which is a gabled semi-dormer on the left with mock timber framing in the gable. The right side has a roughcast exterior on a stuccoed plinth, a slate roof, and a central stack. It also has two storeys and a slightly irregular two-window front with various wooden casements. A boarded door with a small flat hood is located to the right. This building is included for its group value.
