Description

Cottage at 129 Church Street, likely dating from the 16th century, has undergone significant external alterations, particularly in the 19th century. It features a timber-framed core constructed using cruck techniques, rendered on the outside, with a slate roof and brick stacks at each end. The building is one storey high with an attic and has a slightly irregular two-window front. The ground floor has sash windows, while the attic contains glazing bar casements set within gabled dormers. A central half-glazed door provides access. Inside, there is evidence of the original cruck framing.
