Description
Manor House is a house from the 17th century, with 19th-century cladding. It features red brick cladding and has a moulded brick eaves cornice above a plain tile roof, which includes some Swithland slates at the eaves. There is a shallow projecting hipped wing on the left side, with a large brick stack on that side and a brick end stack on the right. The house is two storeys high and has an irregular front with four windows. This includes single casements at the end of the wing and three-light casements with segmental-headed surrounds on the ground floor. The large iron-framed casements have lozenge glazing. There are also a pair of hipped-roof square bays on the ground floor, which flank a raised panelled door located in a timber weather-porch with a hipped roof. To the left, there is a two-storey 19th-century block that projects forward and leads to a carriage archway with tall boarded doors, providing access to the farmyard behind.
