Description

Comley Cottage is a cottage that likely dates back to the 16th century, with some alterations and additions made in the late 20th century. It features a timber frame constructed using cruck techniques, with plastered infill panels and some planted timbers. The roof is covered with plain tiles. The building probably consists of two short framed bays and is one storey high with a gable-lit attic. The front has two 20th-century wooden casement windows, with the left window likely replacing a former door; there is also a door on the left-hand return front. To the left, there are 20th-century brick additions. The stack is not visible, and the interior has not been inspected.
