Description

LAMBLEY MAIN STREET SK 64 NW (south side) 5/70 No.52 II 2 houses, now a house. Early Cl7 and early C18. Timber framed and brick, rendered, with plain tile and pantile roofs. Rubble plinth. Brick nogging. Single coped gable. 3 gable stacks plus 2 diagonally set ridge stacks. 2 storeys plus garrets, 4 bays. Windows are all C20 casements. Street front has off-centre gabled projection, single storey, single bay. To its left, single, and to right 3 casements. Above, to right, a casement. Rear has to left, Cl7 timber framed portion and to right, C18 portion with late C20 catslide roof. To left, door with late C20 porch, flanked by single casements. Above, to left, casement, and close-studded section, 3 bays. To right, a sloping dormer. North gable has to left, door, and to right, 2 casements on each floor. Above again, 2 garret casements. Interior has 3 pairs of bay posts and chamfered span beam and fireplace bressumer.
