Description
No 1 is a house with an attached outbuilding range, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with 20th-century alterations. The structure features timber framing with plastered infill, much of which is brick, and has a thatched roof with a ridge stack. It stands on a brick plinth and has two storeys plus an attic.
The east front has three bays, with an off-centre doorway that includes a plank door. To the right, there is a 20th-century five-light bay window, above which is a 20th-century four-light casement. Higher up, there is a two-light sliding sash window. A 20th-century gabled dormer with a thatched roof and a two-light casement is located to the south. The six-bay north wall features three 20th-century two-light casements. Adjoining to the south is a later single-storey rendered range.
