Description
Orchard Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1835. It features orange brick in Flemish bond and has a slate roof with gabled ends. The building has brick gable end stacks. The layout consists of a main range with two rooms and a central entrance, along with a service wing at the rear, which has a small later outshut. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a symmetrical west front with two windows. The large 19th-century windows are 16-pane sashes set in moulded flush cases with cambered rubbed brick arches. The central doorway has a 19th-century six-pane door, with the top panel glazed, and is sheltered by an open porch that is covered in ivy.
