Description

Webster's Farmhouse is a house that dates from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 20th centuries. It features a mix of timber framing, brick, and some stone, topped with a thatched roof that has a stone-coped gable with kneelers on the left and a bargeboarded gable on the right. The house has two ridge stacks and is 1½ storeys high.

On the south front, there is a three-bay brick range on the left, followed by six bays of late 17th-century square framing with 18th-century brick infill on the right. The left three bays include an off-centre doorway with a 20th-century four-panel door set within a segmental arch. To the left of the door, there are two 2-light casements with segmental arches, and above them, a single 2-light casement. The six bays on the right have a rendered plinth and feature two 3-light casements in the second and fifth bays, with similar windows above in each of these bays, all of which are 20th-century casements.

Notable details include the letters "IC" in burnt headers below the first-floor window in the second bay, and the date "1718" in burnt headers below the first-floor window in the fifth bay. The first, fourth, and sixth bays also have decorative diamond shapes in burnt headers.
