Description
The Limes is a house built in the early 19th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped slate roof, with one ridge stack and two lateral stacks. The building has a plinth and overhanging eaves supported by painted brackets. It stands at 2½ storeys tall and has a south-facing front with five bays. The doorway is off-centre and has a flat hood on brackets, leading to a six-panel door with a traceried overlight. To the right of the door is a single glazing-bar sash window, and to the left is a similar window followed by two plain sashes from the late 19th century. Above these, there are five glazing-bar sash windows, and above those, five smaller glazing-bar sashes. All windows feature painted flat arches and painted sills.
