Description
No. 37 Station Road is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and brick, topped with a plain tile roof. The building is two stories high and features two windows on the south front. There is a doorway on the right side, and to the left, there are two 3-light casement windows. Above these, there are two more 3-light casements at the eaves. Attached to the right is a single-storey addition from the 20th century. The rear, or north front, reveals exposed timber framing with rendered infill. On this side, there is a 20th-century door and a small casement window, along with a narrow vertical window and a long casement window. Inside, the west gable wall is exposed timber framing.
