Description
Willow Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the 17th century. It is constructed from ironstone rubble and has a thatched roof. The building has one and a half storeys and is designed in an L-shape, with the longer side facing the street. On the front, there are two 2-light casement windows on the left, which are set beneath a single timber lintel, and another window on the right that features a curved timber lintel. Above these, there are two eyebrow dormers with thin timbering. The entrance is located in the angle of the 'L' at the rear of the cottage. It is reputed to be cruck-framed.
