No. 23 on Church Street is an early 19th-century house featuring painted brickwork and a Welsh slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and has three bays. It has a central doorway that is sheltered by a new porch, with wood mullioned and transformed casement windows on the outer sides. The upper windows are horizontally sliding sashes, and all openings are topped with cambered brick heads.
