Description

Church Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century, although it has been altered over time. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and features a thatched roof. It has one and a half storeys and a three-unit plan, with one bay to the left of the door and two bays to the right, all fitted with renewed three-light casement windows. There are two eyebrow dormers above the main facade. The cottage has brick stacks located on the gable and to the right of the doorway. The gable is adorned with decorative bargeboards, and there is a rear wing. It is possible that a cruck truss is present within the structure.
