The building is two storeys high and follows a two-unit baffle entry plan. The central doorway is set within a new porch, and there are outer 3-light casement windows that have been renewed in their original openings, complete with cambered brick arched heads. Above, there are also renewed 2-light casements, along with a blind central window space. The cottage has a gable and an axial stack. It is included for its group value.
