Description
The Manor House and Barns is a farmhouse dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from well coursed ironstone rubble, with brick gable walls and a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The main elevation faces southwest and is symmetrical, featuring a central six-panelled door set within an architrave, topped by a slight canopy supported by console brackets. There are 16-light sash windows with stone heads that include incised keystones. To the left, there is an additional section that has casement windows with three and two lights on each floor, along with new French windows replacing a door. At a right angle to the main house, to the northeast, there is a range of one-and-a-half storeyed barns. These barns are also made of coursed ironstone rubble, with Swithland slate roofs and brick gable ends. The principal openings are located on the inner face, with two single loft openings facing the street.
