Description
No. 8 The Lane is a house from the early 18th century located in Weston-by-Welland. It is built of squared coursed lias and has a corrugated metal roof. The house features a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a three-window range of 19th-century casements beneath wooden lintels. There is one 20th-century casement window on the far right and a 20th-century door located to the left of centre, also under a wooden lintel. The cross wing on the far left has a partially rendered gable. The eaves were raised in brick in the early 20th century, and there are brick stacks at the ridge and end of the house. The rear of the building is similar to the front. The interior has not been inspected.
