Description
The Cottage is a house located in Weston-by-Welland, likely dating from the late 17th century, with later additions from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of regularly coursed lias stone and features a plain tile roof from the 20th century. The building has a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. The façade includes a two-window range of three-light stone mullion windows, with a 20th-century door positioned to the left. There are also a pair of 20th-century eaves dormers, ashlar gable parapets, and brick stacks at each end. To the right, there is a single-storey extension added in the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected. The Cottage is included in the register for its group value.
