Description
Weston Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from 1766 and the late 18th century. It is constructed of lias ashlar and features a slate roof. The building originally had a two-unit plan and is two storeys high with a three-window range. The central entrance has a six-panel door with reeded panels, framed by a moulded wood doorcase that includes half round pilasters and a bracketed hood. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are set under flat stone arches with keyblocks. A limestone band runs between the floors, and the gable parapets and stacks at each end are also made of ashlar. A datestone is located in the right gable, and there is a late 18th-century wing at the rear. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to have panelled window reveals.
