Description
The Grange and attached outbuildings is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features cement rendered walls and a graduated greenslate roof, along with rendered chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has five bays. The entrance includes a panelled door with a glazed fanlight, set within a pilastered surround topped with a cornice. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, framed by plain painted stone surrounds. To the left, there is a former stable or barn that shares a common roof with the main house; it has a ground floor window from the 20th century and a rear wall with a plank loft door. At the back, there is a T-shaped two-storey extension with cobbled walls.
