Description
This is a range of three cottages built in 1905 at Quorn Hunt Kennels. They are constructed from red brick and feature a hipped roof made of Welsh slate, topped with two brick ridge stacks. Designed in the English vernacular style, the cottages have two gables and a slightly recessed central section. The building stands two storeys high and has three casement windows. The central part dormer features a rounded gablet and includes both three-light and four-light windows. On the ground floor, from left to right, there is a part-glazed door with a canopy supported by stanchions, a six-light rectangular bay window, another similar door and canopy, a six-light bay window with the left end cut diagonally, another six-light rectangular bay window, and a final similar door and canopy. These cottages are part of an impressive group with the other buildings at Quorn Hunt Kennels.
