Description
The Old Rectory is a large house, likely built between 1736 and 1739 during the rebuilding of the church. It features painted brickwork and a hipped modern tile roof, with one stack on the rear wall and one on the east wall. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical south facade consisting of three bays. It includes 12-light sash windows, some of which have been renewed with plate glass, and these windows are adorned with gauged brick heads and keystones with cornice strips. The central door has been converted into a window. A small section of moulded eaves cornice remains on the east wall. At the rear, there is an early 19th-century hipped wing that bows to the west garden front, featuring three full-height large sash windows with keystones. The west gable end has a double door with lozenge tracery and two sash windows above, also with keystones.
