Description

The Old Manor House is a house comprising a 17th-century timber-framed range and an 1850 addition. The original range, with a gable facing the street, features a timber frame with large panels filled with herringbone brickwork and sits upon a high plinth. It has two storeys and an attic. The north-western facade is arranged as three bays by six panels, displaying arch bracing and a side wall stack. Decorative bargeboards adorn the gable. Ornate 19th-century iron lattice work is fitted to the windows throughout. The gable contains two three-light mullion windows and a single-light attic window with a 19th-century plaster hood mould. The 1850 addition is a brick structure with a chamfered plinth and openings with plaster hood moulds. The central section has a doorway and three-light casement windows. The south-eastern gable features three-light windows, and a single light to the attic.
