Description
The barn and two outbuildings at Quebec House Farm date from the late 18th century and early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick with a granite rubble stone plinth and feature a Swithland slate roof that is partly hipped and partly has coped gables. These structures are located to the right of Quebec House Farmhouse, forming three sides of a partly cobbled yard, with the farmhouse making up the fourth side.
The barn and the first outbuilding are arranged in an L shape, with the barn facing the yard. The barn has a central door and four ventilation diamonds on either side. The outbuilding, which projects forward on the right, is two storeys high and has three 2-light casement windows, two doors, and three part boarded windows below, all with cambered lintels. A weathervane is situated on the roof, and there are three iron tie rods with ends that form the initials P.F.A. The second outbuilding, also in an L shape, is a single storey and completes the yard.
