Description

No. 45 King Street is a cottage dating from the 18th century, which was raised by one storey in the early 19th century. The ground floor is constructed of red brick with a granite rubble stone plinth, while the first floor features unusually large pale red brick. The roof is made of Welsh slate and has a rebuilt stack at the right end. The building has two storeys with two sets of 2 over 3 sash windows. On the ground floor, there is a slightly projecting section to the left that includes a 3-light horizontal sliding sash window, a plank door, a part-glazed door, and a 3-light casement window with top lights. To the right, there is another 3-light horizontal sliding sash window. Inside, there are beams.
