Description

Park Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th and 18th centuries, situated on Church Street in Seagrave. The house is constructed of red brick, with some diapered brickwork, and has a roof of Swithland slate with brick end stacks. It has a gable facing to the right, with a three-window arrangement to the front elevation over two and a half storeys. The upper windows are 3-light casements, with a 3-light casement either side added in the 20th century. Below, the windows are similar, with a central part-glazed door. The windows have cambered lintels, except the 20th-century window. Brick eaves and diapered brickwork are visible on the ground floor. A 2-light window is present on the left end gable, accompanied by further diapered brickwork. To the left, projecting onto Church Street, is a 1 1/2-storey extension with a Swithland slate roof, a brick mid-roof stack, and a skylight. The roof of this extension slopes down as a catslide to an outshut. On the left end facing the street are three 20th-century casements and a boarded window.
