Description
This is a barn and outbuildings located at Number 8, also known as Park Farmhouse, dating from around 1800. The structures are built of red brick, with the barn featuring a granite rubble stone plinth. The barn and one of the outbuildings have a Welsh slate roof, while the other two outbuildings are covered with Swithland slate.
The barn, which faces Church Street, has a large central doorway with a pair of plank doors. To the left of the doorway, there are three ventilation diamonds, along with two 2-light horizontal sliding sash windows above, although the sash window on the left is missing. There are also two loopholes to the right of the barn and four similar loopholes on the right end, which faces Butcher's Lane. The three outbuildings extend down the land, with their walls mostly blank except for a 3-light window in the left outbuilding and a 2-light window in the central outbuilding.
