Description
This is a barn and outbuilding located at Number 23, known as Welland View Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. The structure is built of coursed rubble stone and features a Collyweston slate roof. The barn stands two stories high and has a four-bay roof with a part renewed tie beam and collars. To the left, there is a blocked doorway with a loft-type door above it, and to the right, there are loopholes. The right end of the barn has a large 20th-century door with a loft door above it. At the rear, there is a 20th-century lean-to extension. The outbuilding to the left is a single story, featuring a blocked door and a buff brick stack on the front of the roof to the left, with doors at the rear. This building is included for its group value.
