Description

Number 7, The Banks is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a granite rubble stone plinth and features a 20th-century pantile roof with two brick stacks at the rear. The building has one and a half storeys, with two 12-pane top-opening windows on the front and a door to the right that is sheltered by a small wooden porch. Above, there are two dormers, each with similar windows positioned one-third below the eaves. To the right end, there is a 20th-century one and a half storey extension. Inside, the cottage includes beams and an inglenook fireplace.
