Description
Whitehouse Farmhouse is an 18th-century house and outhouse located on Green Lane in Seagrave. The building is constructed of red brick with a granite rubble stone plinth, topped with roofs made of Welsh slate and concrete tiles. It features two brick ridge stacks and a stack at the left end, along with brick nogged eaves. The main facade faces the rear of the property.
The farmhouse consists of two sections. The left range has a brick band and is two storeys high, with two 2-light casements on the upper floor and similar windows below, each with top lights. The right range is also two storeys and contains two 3-light horizontal sliding sash windows and centre-opening casements. On the ground floor, from left to right, there is a part-glazed door, a 3-light horizontal sliding sash window, a 1-light window, and a stable door.
At the rear, facing the lane, there is a lean-to with a Swithland slate roof, a gabled openwork and glazed porch, and a 2-light small-paned horizontal sliding sash window on both floors.
