Description

This is a row of cottages from the Packe (Prestwold) Estate, built in 1853. They are constructed of brick and topped with Swithland slate roofs. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of single-unit homes, with a gable on the right side of the row. Each cottage features three-light casement windows with mullions and latticed panes, set in chamfered stone frames. The doorways have cambered and chamfered heads. The central house displays a cartouche with the date 1853 and the initials CWP. Additionally, there are various decorated brick chimney stacks.
